The next TLA Annual Meeting will be held in person on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Texas Law Center in Austin.  Details will be coming as we get closer to the date. 

It will definitely be a meeting of great minds to come together to develop a roadmap of where TLA is headed.  We want your ideas. What would you like to see TLA do in the future that will keep members engaged and interested and that would also work toward the goals as set out by our bylaws? Our bylaws state that our projects should:

• Recognize outstanding volunteer service
• Promote an understanding and appreciation of the American Legal System
• Promote law-related education, citizenship awareness and public service advocacy
• Provide information network among Affiliates; and
• Seek funding to implement the purposes of the Texas Lawyers Auxiliary.

So put on your thinking caps and crank out those suggestions! Please send them to Stephanie Whitehurst at Swhite512@gmail.com  so that they can be considered at the October 3 meeting.
